The Japanese sense of tradition and beauty has long thrived in Japan’s distinctive seasonal climate. Park City Toyosu’s landscape design draws inspiration from Japan’s 24 seasonal divisions, a concept deeply rooted in the country’s cultural heritage. These divisions divide the year into 24 equal parts, with each part further subdivided into 15 days based on the lunar calendar. This allows for a nuanced appreciation of the subtle changes across the four seasons, a hallmark of Japanese culture. Our goal is to craft a landscape that invites active engagement rather than mere observation. To achieve this, we have meticulously designed 24 private gardens, incorporating various innovations to enhance the visitor’s experience.
