“What does it mean to live as a human being?” As science and technology expand exponentially, we find ourselves humbly questioning the fundamental essence of human existence. The field of welfare and nursing studies focuses on empowering individuals to live authentically as themselves. Named HUMANIZED ART SCAPE, this project embodies the philosophy of the School of Nursing, which trains professionals dedicated to supporting human dignity. Using the human body as its motif and the five senses as its guiding theme, the project features five distinct installations spread across the canvas. Each installation is meticulously crafted to evoke sensory experiences—sight, smell, touch, taste, and hearing. These art installations serve as a conduit for exploring the concept of “humanity,” fostering interactive experiences within the plaza. For students preparing to enter their careers, engaging with these artworks becomes an integral part of envisioning their roles in welfare and nursing. It enriches their academic journey and prepares them to uphold human dignity, preserve life, and nurture spiritual fulfillment in an ever-evolving society. The goal is for these students to evolve into creative individuals who champion these values, contributing to a society where every person’s humanity is respected and nurtured.
