Let’s stroll through the streets like scenes from a movie!
The Kawasaki Station area, once known for its heavy industrial presence, underwent a transformation with the birth of Lazona Kawasaki at the former Toshiba headquarters plant site near the station’s west exit. Designed with expansive roofs, numerous plazas, and 300 stores, the concept was to “create a town.” As landscape designers, our vision was for people to weave their own unforgettable life stories in this revitalized town. With the guiding theme of “Let’s walk the town like a movie!”, we crafted diverse life stages across the site. There are playgrounds for children, gathering spots for mothers with young ones, and event stages. Lazona Kawasaki strives to be a place where every visitor can step into the spotlight and engage with the city.
