建築家からは、子供達に夢を与えてくださいと一言。まず天体望遠鏡は色と数字や注意喚起などのグラフィックででどこかロボットを思わせるデザインにした。天体観測所への10mの回廊は合わせ鏡にして黒く塗装し、無限に続く漆黒の宇宙空間を表現。天体観測後の回廊も合わせ鏡とシルバーの塗装にして光に包まれた地球への帰還を表し、宇宙飛行士になった気分を演出した。
The architects had one goal in mind: to inspire children’s dreams. Initially, they designed the astronomical telescope resembling a robot, adorned with vivid colors and graphics such as numbers and warnings. Leading up to the observatory, a 10-meter corridor was painted black, lined with laminated mirrors to evoke the boundless expanse of space. After the astronomical observation, the corridor transitions to silver with mirrored surfaces, symbolizing the return to Earth bathed in light and fostering a sensation akin to that of being an astronaut.
