印象派の画家「クロード・モネ」の風景画からインスピレーションを得た
「食と緑の空中庭園」
屋上全体を水面に見立て青色のタイルを敷き詰め、水面に浮かぶ蓮の葉をイメージした円形のデッキ、パラソルや家具を配置し屋上空間に居場所をつくりだした。デッキは間接照明によって浮かび上がり、夕暮れから夜にかけて白からロゼ、そして赤へと変化し、壁面緑化やパラソルの照明と共に夜間の演出を担う。移り行く季節の草花、光の情景、様々なフードやイベント、常に変化する風景画が、訪れる物を楽しませてくれる。
Renovation of the rooftop at Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store draws inspiration from Claude Monet’s landscape paintings, transforming into the Hanging Garden of Food and Greenery.The entire rooftop is covered in blue tiles, evoking the surface of water. A circular deck, parasols, and carefully arranged furniture mimic lotus leaves floating on water, providing a serene rooftop retreat. Indirect lighting illuminates the deck, transitioning from white to rosé and then to red as dusk turns to night. Combined with greenery on the walls and parasol lights, this setup creates a captivating nighttime ambiance. Visitors can delight in seasonal flowers, plants, dynamic light displays, a variety of culinary offerings, and ever- evolving landscape views, making each visit a unique experience.
